6 Simple Steps To Finally Losing Weight

With all the diets out there a person who sincerely wants to lose weight can find themselves lost and confused. The truth is, a diet doesn't have to be so complicated. All the person has to do is have some discipline, a plan, and the desire to achieve their goal. Here are some tips to help those out there who have thought diets are a lost cause. Just follow these simple steps and with consistency and patience you will burn those pounds right off. So here they are:

1. Eliminate all junk foods from the house - You won't be tempted to eat what you don't have access to. These foods include your cookies, cakes, ice cream, donuts, chips, soda, and anything else that contains simple sugars or artificial colors and flavors.

2. Grocery shop for healthy foods - Stick to whole grains, vegetables and lean protein sources like fish, chicken, and lean beef. Whole grains would mean instead of white bread your would get 100% whole wheat. Stay away from buying anything prefried, and high sugary foods.

3. Exercise atleast 3-4 days a week - At first commit yourself to working out atleast 3-4 days a week which can just include running or jogging for atleast 45 min. Commit yourself to this time and don't worry about distance until you've gotten into the routine. Just make sure to not stop until you've reached the 45min time limit.

4. Only have your carbs in the morning - Restrict your carb consumption to only the morning time. The rest of the day you should focus on eating more protein.

5. Eat more often - Get used to spreading your meals throughout the day and not just having one big meal at one sitting. Learn to divide your huge plates into smaller portions so they add up to altleast 4-5 meals a day. This might seem impossible but if you're eating correctly and exercising then your metabolism will speed up so you won't even have to try.

6. Drink more water - Get used to drinking water with all of your meals and even in between meals. The more water you drink the more lean you will get.
